'Kyphosis' of the spine. Kyphosis is an abnormal, excessive curvature of the back. His freedom ride came in June 2023.
When he arrived in his forever home he was about 13 hands and very easy going. For several days he ignored the green grass in his quarantine enclosure because he had never seen any before.
He allowed removing his tag by the 3rd day and was happy to be gently brushed in a week. After 30 days he joined the resident herd and quickly bonded with the BLM mustang in the herd.
Leading, ground manners, standing for the farrier, came along in the next years.
In 2024 he stood very quietly and allowed a rider to mount.
